Srinivas, an ‘A’
Grade Veena Artiste, began
his career as a child prodigy. He was born in a family of
musicians at Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh in the year 1968. His
mother Smt. D. L.
Tulasi, a popular Veena guru, having identified his taste
and talent in Veena, initiated and encouraged him to pursue and
master the art.
Srinivas gave his maiden concert at the age
of 9 for All
India Radio, Hyderabad.
Vidwan Sri N.S. Srinivasan a
desciple of flute maestro late Sri
T.R. Mahalingam, was the master architect to introduce him
as an artiste with laudable individual traits.
Srinivas was the scholarship holder fromAndhra Pradesh
Sangeeta Natak Academyfor 6 years. He was also the first
prize winner of All India Radio Music Competitions in the year
1989
In the year 1992 when he was 23 years he became ‘A’ Grade Veena
Artiste of All India Radio.
He also had the privilege of being theYoungest ‘A’ grade
Veena artiste from
Andhra Pradesh to play in the National Programme of music
Concert relayed Live all over the nation from the studio's of
All India Radio, Hyderabad.
He also had the privilege to play National
Programme of Music in
All India Radio, Hyderabad relayed LIVE all over the nation.

many National Programme of Music Concerts from
All India Radio & Doordarshan.
Performing Veena Concerts at various prestigious National&
International musical events including the prestigious
Chennai Music academy
and has been the recipient of many awards for his meritorious and
merit worthy performances.
He had the privilege to be chosen by Sangeet
Natak Academy to
represent India in
show casing the Indian
Cultural Symbol (Veena) at United Nations(UN)
Empanelled artiste of Indian
Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR)
Honored as "Ashtana Vidwan" of Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham
Blessed with a Golden Rudraksha mala embedded with Navaratnas by his
holiness Pujya Sri
Sri Sri Ganapathi Satchidananda Swamiji.
Also performed concers with Veena to "Sangeetha Kalanidhi" Padmabhushan
Dr. Managalampalli Bala Murali Krishna, and Violin MaestroPadmabhushan
Dr.L.Subrahmanyam.
Srinivas has also presented many a Classical Symphony concerts
using Indian Classical Instruments such as Veena,
Flute, Clarinet, Mridangam, Ghatam, Morsing and Tabala .
As a Composer:

Composed music for the "Dances
of India" a
ballet on Indian Dance forms in the 10th
National Youth Festival and
presented a Classical Symphony concert with Padma
Sri Mandolin U.Srinivas and
was felicitated by the Central Minister for Youth services Late
Sri Sunil Duttand also by the Govt.
of Andhra Pradesh.

Composed music for "Kuchipudi
natya vaibhavam" a
13 episode dance programme by Padmasree
Radha and Raja reddy, which was televised in the
national network of Doordarshan.

Also composed music for the documentary films
on ‘Nagarjunakonda’ and‘Simhachalam’ produced
by Sri Ramachander Rao.

Composed music for "Andhra
Vaibhavam" & "Andhram" Dance
ballets for Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. Dr.S.P.Bala
Subrahmanyam & Smt. Chitra were
the main singers of this music and Dance Ballets.
