D. Srinivas, an ‘A’ Grade Veena Artiste, began his career as a child prodigy. He
was born in a family of musicians at Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh in
the year 1968. His mother Smt. D. L. Tulasi, a popular Veena
Artiste, having identified his taste and talent in Veena, initiated
and encouraged him to pursue and master the art.
Srinivas gave his maiden
concert at the age of 9 for All India Radio,
Hyderabad.

Srinivasan a desciple of flute maestro late Sri T.R.
Mahalingam, was the master architect to introduce him as an
artiste with laudable individual traits.
Srinivas
was the scholarship holder from Andhra Pradesh Sangeeta Natak
Academy for 6 years. He was also the first prize winner of All
India Radio Music Competitions.
He was the First Prize winner of All India Radio National Music
Competitions in the year 1989 .
In the year 1992 when he was 23 years he became ‘A’ Grade Veena
Artiste of All India Radio.
He also had the previlege of being the Youngest ‘A’ grade Veena
artiste from Andhra Pradesh to play in the National Programme of
music Concert relayed Live all over the nation from the studio's of
All India Radio, Hyderabad.
Featured many a times in the National Programme Of Music Concerts of
All India Radio & Doordarshan.
Accompanied with Veena to "Sangeetha Kalanidhi" Dr.
Managalampalli Bala Murali Krishna, in a commercial C.D. on
Tyagaraja Krithis .
Composed music for Kuchipudi natya vaibhavam a 13 episode
dance programme by padmasree Radha and Raja reddy, which was
televised in the national network of Doordarshan.
Also composed music for documentary films on ‘Nagarjunakonda’
and ‘Simhachalam’ produced by Sri Ramachander Rao. Composed
music for the ‘Dances Of India’ a theme song in the 10th National
Youth festival. And also played a concert in the festival along with
‘Padma Sri’ Mandolin U.Srinivas.
He was blessed with a Golden Rudraksha mala embedded with Navaratnas
by his holiness Pujya Sri Sri Sri Ganapathi Satchidananda Swamiji.
Performed concerts in many a prestigious Organizations and has been
the recipient of many awards for his meritorious and merit worthy
performances.
Srinivas has also presented many a Classical Symphony concerts using
Indian Classical Instruments such as Veena, Flute, Clarinet,
Mridangam, Ghatam, Morsing and Tabala .

President of India, Prime Minister of India , Singapore Prime
Minister , Chinese Congress President , Indo-German Business summit,
Japanese Business Summit, Mauritius Prime Minister, World Bank
President, Singapore Deputy Prime Minister, Golden Jubilee
Celebrations of DANDI March at Surat, Indo-Asean Business summit,
Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, ADB Summit.
He was honored with the Titles like ‘Veena Vadya Vidwanmani’ ,
‘Veena Vaadya Praveena’ ‘Raaga Sudhakara’ and ‘Vainika Ratna’.
Also honored with the Awards like Emani Sankara Sastry award,
Chittibabu Memorial award, Gidigu Lalitha Memorial award.
